I got that "We Miss You".....bull 31/2 months after my last meeting. The elder told me later that I was rejecting my "family" by not wanting to associate with the cong. anymore. I was going through a totally unexpected divorce from my ex-wife. The elders knew {I told them} and some of my Witness co-workers knew. Three and a half months I heard from no one until I got the "we miss you" call. No one offered any assistance, ZERO.....I glad I have my real family back and real friends I can count on.

Seems like another "get out of jail free" card. Have you ever noticed that many Jws are the same way. They make a mistake and have a hard time admitting it, yet breath firery judgement on the world and even congregation members. No wonder these people are not happy.

What Makes A Person A Potential "Apostate"?
by minimus inthe more i think about things, the more i believe that i have been, as the society likes to say, "courting sin".
for years, i've questioned internally, the policies of the watchtower, the teachings, the directives of co's and do's and the overall "attitude" of jw's.
mind you, no one would have ever thought that i didn't believe this is without a doubt the "truth".

When you begin to figure out that the borg has the same "sins" that other religious organizations have and that they hide thier mistakes it is only a matter of time that you lose the good conscience of speaking about this wonderful organization to others. Then you may feel angry that you've been fooled. It is not being an apostate as much as having the freedom to speak the truth. The truth hurts those who lie and those that believe lies. I always wondered why the borg was so afraid of apostates, after all the truth should stand alone, even with a conflicting opinion.

What do you miss the most not being a witness anymore?
by JH inis there anything that you miss, since you don't belong to the jw's anymore?
friendship, family, or maybe just the feeling of belonging to some groupe that had you dreaming of a better world?

A cure all hope. But, then again I see people with this hope of a new world sad, depressed, abused, neglected and worn out, being told to do more. The fruitage does not seem to match this happy hope anymore.

IS IT PROPER TO RISE FOR A WOMAN ?
by minimus inthe 4-15-52 wt.
says it is by satanic design to untheocratically elevate the woman above the man.tipping your hat to a woman could possibly lead to improper advances.it sets a woman apart because of her sex.it is subtly disguised creature worship!.
more wisdom from the faithful slave.......

JW 'urban legends'
by Steve Lowry ini was thinking about some of the old jw urban legends that we grew up with and believed in as jws.
most of the ones i remember revolved around stories about demons, and jws being "attacked" when they would do something wrong.
some of these legends scared the crap outta me when i was little.

A brother came home to find his wife being raped. He subdued the man, called the police and spent the time waiting for the police to witness about the kingdom to this rapist. Believe it or not?

I knew an elder who was a director of the feast (wedding) who had to leave because his wife was drunk. The same sister would drink in the morning and brought her own wine to a party for a young sister who was released from the hospital. Cake, ice cream and wine?

Judge Rules in favor of WTS
by Tron ini was reading the paper and saw that the judge ruled that the city of blainville quebec cannot charge jw`s 100$ if they dont have a permit to solicite new members, but did state that they should not disturb people after 7:30pm and on weekends.they won there case due to reilgous freedom.what about my freedom to be free of them!!
well let me tell you if i need to find religion i will go to there kh,i dont need them at anytime knocking at my door.
yes yes i know they say cause the bible saysjesus and his apostles went out and spread the good news door to door...well my answer to that is....that was then this is now ,there are different methods of harrasing people today without having to go to there homes and disturb them.

Lied to a sister so I could have proof of a serious sin and thus have a JC, She was D'fed. She has never recovered from the D'fing. No one did shit to help this sister, elders included, but we all could rally in the name of rightouesness to put her out. The borg has no human touch to it, just a bunch of idiotic man made ideas, that for the most teach mock humility.
